"Metaphysical Christmas: The Babe"

Luke 2:7 "And she gave birth to her
firstborn son and wrapped him in bands of
cloth, and laid him in a manger, because
there was no place for them in the inn."

We continue with the familiar Christmas
story on this Cristmas Day. Together we
can picture Mary, Joseph, and the baby
in their humble stable surrounded by the
animals kept there.

As we gaze into the face of the baby we
see our own reflection mirrored there,
for Christmas is a reminder to us of the
birth of the Christ in us.

Let Us Pray:
We are grateful to know, Sweet Spirit,
that Christmas is not just the history
of something that happened a long time
ago. It is the celebration of the birth
of the Christ in each one of us. Thank
You, God. Thank You, God. Amen
