"Affirmative Prayer"
"Instead of asking God to change us,
other people, or our conditions, we
affirm the highest truth revealed in the
moment." -Linda Martella-Whitsett
People send me requests for prayer
all of the time wanting to change
people or life circumstances.
I pray with them, but I don't pray
begging a god out there somewhere
to change things for the person or
their loved ones.
As our quote states, we pray affirming
the highest truth in the moment.
When we see someone suffering it
doesn't help them if we get into the
problem and just visualize the problem.
In affirmative prayer we know the truth
that they are whole, they are wisdom,
they are the abundance they seek.
They are the Christ in expression. They
have Spirit moving in and through them,
as them. There is no separation.
Let Us Pray:
I am whole. I am fully Divine expressing
and living my life. I surrender to the
truth of this knowing, and am grateful.
And, so it is, and, so we let it be. Amen.
I'm continuing to grow on this journey,
and am so grateful that I have fellow
travelers like you supporting me.
Grace-filled blessings,
Sandy
