"Darkness into Light"

"We are to remember that the Light
shines in the darkness, and that in
the very midst of the darkness, man's
mind opens to the Light, and for him
there is no more darkness."
    -Myrtle Fillmore

Two Marys were on the way to the
tomb to prepare the body of Jesus
for burial.

They had experienced darkness
when their beloved teacher and
friend had died on Friday.

It was a time of mourning for these
ladies with an expectation of only
further darkness.

When they arrived at the tomb the
stone was rolled away from the
entrance, and the body of Jesus
was no longer there.

According to the the story in Mark
a young man dressed in a white
robe was there, and instructed
them not to be alarmed because
Jesus has been raised.

Metaphysically the empty tomb
represents freedom, peace, and
joy as the stone holding us to old
thought patterns sets us free.

We rejoice.  We are grateful.

Let Us Pray:
Consciously we go within, and
connect with Spirit.  We rejoice
in the freedom that is ours as
the stone of old thoughts and
ways of being is rolled away. We
are grateful.  And, so it is, and,
so we let it be.  Amen.

Happy Easter,
Sandy
